This policy covers how SMAC treats personal information that SMAC collects and receives, including information related to your past participation in SMAC events and purchase of SMAC products. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, like your name, address, e-mail address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that SMAC does not own or control, or to people who are not part of the SMAC management team.

SMAC collects personal information when you register as a member, when you attend SMAC events, or when you purchase SMAC products. When you register we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, gender, zip code, and address. Once you register with SMAC and sign in to our club, you are not anonymous to us. SMAC may collect information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners.
SMAC uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the website and content you see, fulfill your requests for events, clinics and races, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients or sponsors.

SMAC does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you\'ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

You can edit your SMAC membership information by contacting the Webmaster with your change request at any time. You can remove your SMAC membership information by contacting the Webmaster with your removal request at any time.

We limit access to personal information about you to SMAC management team members who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to effectively run the club. Your SMAC database information is always kept password-protected.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
SMAC may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary e-mail address specified in your SMAC membership or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
